📄️ Roles & Access Overview
frugally.app uses a role-based access control (RBAC) model to manage what team members can see and do. Roles define permissions, Groups organise users, and Scopes restrict visibility to specific parts of your AWS environment.
📄️ Roles and Permissions
Every frugally.app user is assigned a role that determines what actions they can perform. Roles are set at the team level — a user has the same role across all Connections, though Scopes can further restrict what they can see.
📄️ Groups
Groups let you organise your team members within frugally.app. Use them to control who can see and act on specific parts of your AWS environment by assigning Scopes.
📄️ Scopes
Scopes are available on the Pro plan and above.
📄️ Access Requests
Access requests let team members request elevated access to Connections, Targets, or features they do not currently have permission to use. Requests go through an approval workflow so that access is granted with oversight.
